With the ability to overcome difficulties faced in the design and manufacturing of laser systems, LASEROPTEK continuously strives to conquer technical challenges. Through continuous development efforts, LASEROPTEK maintains core competencies in the following key areas:

As evidenced in the “Optics Letter” paper outlined below, we achieved increased conversion efficiency using transmission gratings and increased output stability through the optimization of the operating conditions of harmonic crystals. These achievements have been severely tested and proven as evidenced by the top-level test data generated to date.

LASEROPTEK’s proprietary thermal lens and thermal birefringence compensator is specifically designed to prevent non-uniform beam profiles and reduced energy output during use; two significant weaknesses of solid-state lasers.


LO’s proprietary thermal lens and thermal birefriugence compensator were specially designed to prevent negative features of solid lasers, which easily become nonuniform beam profile and reduced output energy during using.


DOE FRACTIONAL LASER

LASEROPTEK developed and proved that, for the first time in aesthetic laser history, the use of Diffractive Optical Element (DOE) technology is a safer and more effective method for creating fractional beams. A DOE generated fractional beam is one where each spot is of the same fluence and ablation / penetration depth thereby enabling heat dissipation through intact skin. This application technology is patented IP of LASEROPTEK.

WORLD FIRST SOLID STATE ULTRAVIOLET LASER

LASEROPTEK spent the last decade researching and designing the world’s first solid state 308/311 nm ultraviolet laser. This is a narrow-band UVB laser with the wavelengths proven to be the safest and most effective for treating many skin disorders including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and alopecia areata.

This revolutionary development allows for the replacement of gas-based excimer lasers resulting in the removal of multiple gas-based system drawbacks such as the need for expensive consumable and frequent maintenance. LASEROPTEK continuously strives to provide the most efficacious as well as most economical lasers to our customers.

This breakthrough technology was published in “Optics Letters” in 2015.
